We hope you enjoy your time in the home and Narragansett as much as we do — it's truly our "happy place!" We are the Reilly family, and we were born and raised right here in Narragansett. When this cottage became available, we felt fortunate to reestablish our family's roots in the Pier and couldn't be more excited to share it with guests.

The home has a rich history dating back to the early 1900s. From what we've gathered from town records, previous owners and neighbors, it was originally a horse stable for the polo horses of Point Judith Country Club in the late 1800s and early 1900s — located across the street and moved to its current location before 1938. The home remained in the same family for more than a century before we were lucky enough to take it on.

During our 2024 renovations, we uncovered a large archway between what is now the living room and bathrooms. As we peeled back many layers in the dining room — wallpaper, more wallpaper, and tin — we found different types of wood constructing the outside walls that looked almost haphazardly placed. This was likely the result of rebuilding after the Great Hurricane of 1938, one of the most destructive storms in recorded history.

We are honored to host you and excited to usher in the next 100 years of happy memories made at the beach. We wish you a stay filled with all the sun, sand, salt air, and serenity that makes Narragansett so special.
